Dia 1, universidad latina:

Day 1: Universidad Latina
Hi Friends, after spending a whole day at the airport waiting for delayed flights we finally made it to Panama and we started receiving God's blessings and experiencing his work in our lives as we had briefing and planification times forthe following weeks.
Today our group had 2 options: either going to the catholic university 'USMA' or going to 'La universidad Latina'. But we found out that there wouldn't be classes in 'USMA' so we decided to go to 'la Latina'. Once in 'La universidad Latina' we tried to reach our friend Paola who is being discipled by the leaders of cru in Panama, and committed to building a movement in her university. She had classes so we had to wait for her for a bit, but while we were waiting we prayed for the hearts of students and asked the Lord to prepare us and give us strategies to share the gospel with them in a way that we can reflect the love of Christ with our lives and so they can be transformed by the message of the cross. We also prayed about a special permission that we need in order to get to enter into the building since it is a private university, of course God's answer was shown to us in no time and that's something we praise him for.
After praying Paola showed up and took us for a tour around the building showing us which areas are the most commons for students to hang out and some classrooms where we could find students to talk to. Once done exploring/touring the building we went to the cafeteria for lunch and talked to Paola about her hope and dreams about her university, and how she wants the Lord to use her so others can know him through sharing the gospel and growing a movement at 'La universidad Latina' she also told us a little bit about their culture and how students think about the gospel and religion in general.
So we finished our exploring day and came back to the hostal. Tomorrow will be another challenging day since we'll be going to the catholic university, and for that I'm excited and also praying the Lord he would help me find students to talk to who need him as much as he wants them to know him.
